Lovers Rock - Janet Kay's Silly Games

Film and TV has been soundtracked by some brilliant music in 2020. A German version of David Bowie in JoJo Rabbit, Christopher Nolan's Tenet featuring Travis Scott, but one of our favourites is the reggae, dub and disco utilised by Steve McQueen (director of 12 Years A Slave) in his Small Axe TV episode, 'Lovers Rock'. The show's centrepiece track is 'Janet Kay - Silly Games', (produced by reggae legend Dennis Bovell, who also cameos in the episode), and you can listen to it over on the LoudlyMAG playlist below:
